Mayfield

We are Mayfield from the sunny shores of southern California. There are two of us- Rich and Paul- and we love music. Mayfield came together in 2004 in the pursuit of creating and performing music that we like to listen to ourselves.

So the story goes like this: in 2004, Rich and Paul created the band Mayfield Heights. That year and under that name we independently released the EP, "Whatever It Takes" and toured in support of it. In 2006 after much deliberation, we decided to change our name to Mayday! Mayday! to avoid name similarity. We released the EP, "37" under that moniker and then in 2007 set out on a national tour in support of that release.

And now in 2009, we give you MAYFIELD. We are going back to our roots to share with you more of what we love. We start this journey by offering you the single, "Heart Attack" which we hope you find ravenously enjoyable. We are set to complete an EP which will feature "Heart Attack" later this year for your continued listening pleasure.
